Your privacy is our concern. JDW uses proven security measures to ensure that your information is protected. We will not sell your information to any third-party service. We will also only share your information when required to complete necessary transactions for which you give us permission (i.e. completing a purchase), or in accordance with applicable law. That said, every virtual transaction carries with it a certain level of risk. We adjure you to practice caution when inputting sensitive information.

For custom commissions:

For the artist to reserve your commission spot, a fee equivalent to 1/2 the quoted price is required upfront and is non-refundable. This fee goes to the purchase of supplies and to preserve labor costs. It cannot be returned. For this reason, it is requested that all patrons review their contracts in full before signing and/or sending payment. The rest of the payment is due before the artwork is mailed to the intended patron. Once the second payment is received, the artwork will be mailed out to be delivered to the patron. At that time, the second payment is also non-refundable. To ensure that the patron is satisfied with the artwork, the patron will have a step-by-step update throughout the creation process and will receive a limited number of proposed revisions before accepting the final piece. If at any time, the patron decides to backout, the initial payment is still non-refundable. This will be the case regardless of the reason for termination of services, including but not limited to financial hardships, cold feet, acts of God, differences of opinion, significant others' opinions, or necessary termination of services (meaning the artist is terminating the contract due to but not limited to any of the above.

For one-of-a-kind pieces purchased from the virtual store or in person:

All sales are final and non-refundable.

For prints of artworks purchased from the virtual store or in person:

All sales are final and non-refundable.

Lack of delivery due to shipping carrier:

All pieces will be sent out with appropriate insurance from the mail carrier at no extra charge to the patron. If the artwork is damaged or lost during shipping, insurance will cover the piece. The patron must deal directly with the mail carrier for any and all refunds. No refunds will be provided by JDW ArtStudios LLC or any of its affiliates for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Jdwartstudios.com grants you permission to use the services inherent on this site for the sole purpose of conducting financial transactions, participating in classes and other resource material that you signed up/paid for, or engaging in certain site-wide events. No other permissions or licenses are granted. Additionally, you use the services at your own risk. JDW ArtStudios LLC makes no guarantees other than the protections outlined in the privacy policy. JDW ArtStudios LLC assumes no fault for any negative outcome of your use of our service. Please be mindful that this is a community and that there may be children also using the services (i.e., virtual classes, virtual events, chatboxes, etc.). JDW reserves the right to terminate use of services for any reason that violates it policies, including but not limited to bullying, vulgarity, solicitation, abuse, assault, battery, harassment. However, JDW makes no guarantees and will review accounts for suspension or termination on a case-by-case scenario. Additionally, where required by law, JDW may turn certain information over to law enforcement for the purposes of aiding in the investigation of possible criminal misconduct (i.e., solicitation of a minor).

All intellectual property on this site is owned solely by JDW ArtStudios LLC and its owner. They do not grant you the right to use said property outside of the site or for any reason that is not outlined for your enjoyment of services. 

Additionally, anything that you upload you agree JDW ArtStudios LLC is granted a life-time, irrevocable license to use, replicate, or alter at no cost and no royalties paid to you. Excepting this, any intellectual property that you upload is your property. 

JDW ArtStudios LLC reserves the right to remove anything uploaded to its site for any reason at no notice to you. If you have any questions, you are free to reach out via your account or by emailing JDW ArtStudios LLC.

By using this service, you agree that all legal discrepancies will be resolved according to the laws of Alabama.

As outlined elsewhere in this agreement, JDW reserves the right to revoke your right to use any service at any time at its discretion and at no cost (i.e., no refund for loss of services). Additionally, you have the right to close or terminate your account at any time. However, no refund will be granted.
